Customer wants to make a field mandatory in a custom MDF object

To setup a field as mandatory in a custom MDF object, please follow the below steps:

1. Search by Configure Object Definition on action search.
2. Select the custom object that has the field that you want to turn mandatory
3. Click on Take Action
4. Go to the field and click on details
5. Go to Required option and set as Yes.

NOTE: Once you set it as mandatory, the field should not be secured under Field Override in Permissions, as it can lead to application issues and is not recommended.
