2791505 - Server returning 401 error in NW JAVA Support Tool

Symptom

In NW JAVA Support Tool, while getting the latest patches you might get a "... 401. User authentication seemed to be failed".

There are two symptoms related to this error, in which are described in the points "1" and "2" below. The next steps in the Resolution section must be followed according to symptom identified.

1) The error occurs while getting the last patch for the very first component as the example below:


2) The error occurs in the middle of the process, after successfully getting the latest patches for some components as the example below:
