Symptom
Users with no associated business partner cannot perform functions that require a business partner, such as:
- Checking the processing status of support messages in SAP Solution Manager
- Being listed as processor on an incident
- Being listed as contact person on an incident
Upon attempting to add themselves to an incident in a business partner dependent role (i.e. reporter, processor), users with no business partner will encounter the following message:
"Business partner [user] (Role) is not a business partner"
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
