2791714 - Create Users and Business Partners Automatically in IT Service Management


Users with no associated business partner cannot perform functions that require a business partner, such as:

  • Checking the processing status of support messages in SAP Solution Manager
  • Being listed as processor on an incident
  • Being listed as contact person on an incident

Upon attempting to add themselves to an incident in a business partner dependent role (i.e. reporter, processor), users with no business partner will encounter the following message:

"Business partner [user] (Role) is not a business partner"
