2792524 - How to Control Deletion of ECWK Records from Job information for Contingent Worker

Symptom

  • Is it possible to control permissions on only ECWK records for a Contigent Worker?
  • Is it possible to allow a user to delete other records of job history but not ECWK records?

Resolution

  1. Below is the example of Job history records for Contingent worker

  1. Permission for Edit/Insert/Delete/Update are provided in manner of all or nothing. 
  2. If a user has access to Edit/Insert/Delete/Update one record from job history, then he will be able to perform the same action on the ECWK record as well.
  3. Permission on Work Orders can be managed by the Work Order permissions via Role based Permissions > Miscellaneous Permissions.
  4. Granular Level permission on event/record base edit is not yet supported by Employee Central.
  5. Such a request type could be considered as a future Enhancement request.
