2792625 - Unable to Replicate Employees in the Master Data Replication Work Center

You are trying to replicate Employees in the Master Data Replication work center, however the system displays the below error messages:

Company of position must be company of employment
Company from leading org assignment must be the same with Company from employment
Cannot delimit time file validity; employee times exist; cancel times
Employee Type deleted due to overlapping validity period of adjacent node

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Master Data Replication work center.
2. Then go to the Employees view.
3. Search for Remote Employee ID XYZ.
4. Then check the Replication Status as Failed.

Cause 1: Employee XYZ was hired as internal employee and the time recording was done for this employee. Now you are trying to create a service agent role for this employee and an internal employee role. Hence, it is the same case of moving hire date of internal employee which is not possible if time recording exists.

Cause 2: The current work-agreement of an Employee XYZ validity starts from say for example 01.12.2022 to 31.12.9999. But with the employee replication request, the start date is set from 13.02.2023 to unlimited. This replication request will try to change the validity start date of the current work-agreement from 1.12.2022 to 13.02.2023, and as time records exists between 1.12.2022 to 12.02.2023, the replication fails with the error "Cannot delimit time file validity; employee times exist; cancel times".

You need to either delete the time recording or check the hire date of the internal employee.
