2792641 - Creating a Technical User for Cloud Integration

Symptom

Instead of S-users, it's also possible, for test purpose only, to use P-users (Public Users, P + 10 digits) for Cloud Integration (former CPI).
There are a few possible use cases for Technical User / Public User:

  • Allow several people working in the integration work space, but not all have an individual S-user assigned to them.
  • During an error, we need several parties to look at the problem and it is immensely cumbersome to assign access to each user on a need basis. There are cases, where you had to share your user password due to time constraints.
  • A technical user is also used for defining permissions for senders to process messages on a Runtime Node. For example in a basic authentication scenario for an HTTPS adapter help documentation

Note: This should not be used in Productive scenarios!
