2793478 - Out Of Office Banner - Show Current Absence Status

As of b1905, you can enable the 'Show Current Absence Status' switch in 'Company System and Logo Settings'.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

You can now limit the visibility of absences to currently configured Role-based Permission roles and groups.

Only the users who are in the groups or roles that are checked under 'Show Absence Config Status' will see the absence status of their target population.

e.g. User would not see the absence status of him/her-self if they are not in any groups or roles checked under ‘Show Absence Config Status’.

Please Note:

• This feature is for Desktop SuccessFactors, Mobile app does not show the OOO banner.
• This feature is currently not customizable, which means that the displayed text and color cannot be changed. If you consider this an important topic please submit an enhancement request, as per KBA 2090228.
• You need to have access to the 'Role Based Permission Features' tool to be able to select a permission group under the 'Limit to' dropdown
