Unable to make a field as Required / Optional / Hidden in the Apps "Manage Product Master Data" and "Change / Create /  Display Material"

Missing Functionality.

Currently, in S/4HANA Cloud there is no SSCUI for Field Selection in the Product Master to make fields mandatory / optional or hidden in the Apps  "Manage Product Master Data" and "Change / Create /  Display Material"

Please use the SAP Customer Influence Program as outlined in the KBA 2963059 for the SSCUI to be included in a future release.

Workaround:

Please consider using the Enhancements Master Data : Product  provided in the app 'Custom Fields and Logic' if you wish to code an error to be raised to inform the user to maintain a certain field in the app "Manage Product Master Data"

Please refer to the Documentation of the BAdI

Please note the BAdI / Enhancement is only called in the app  "Manage Product Master Data". It will not be called in the 'Create / Change / Display Material' App.
