Symptom
LOAD TABLE should give a conversion error when the source data is a space and the target column is NUMERIC. However, if the scale of the NUMERIC is 19 or higher, a value of 0 is loaded.
When the source value is a space, but only when the scale of the NUMERIC is 19 or higher, LOAD TABLE inserts value of 0 into a NUMERIC column. But If the scale of the NUMERIC is less than 19 then a "Cannot convert to numeric" error is raised (as expected). The same error is raised for DECIMAL, except the error is "Cannot convert to Unknown TypeID" INSERT returns the "Cannot convert" error regardless of scale.
