2794463 - Calculation Node 'TotalAmount - ItemAccountingCodingBlockDistribution' is Empty in Sales Order

You created a calculation type extension field, in the calculation rule, you selected node 'TotalAmount - ItemAccountingCodingBlockDistribution'. While, in the sales order, the extension field shows empty.

1. Go to the work center Sales Orders.
2. Go to the view Sales Orders.
3. Choose a sales order ABC and go to Items tab, the Net Value is for example 100 EUR.  (ABC represents the ID of a sales order)
4. You have created an extension field DEF, where calcuation rule is 'TotalAmount - ItemAccountingCodingBlockDistribution' only, which means the extension field shows the node value. You expect field DEF shows 100 EUR. However, DEF shows empty. (DEF represents the name of the extension field)

'TotalAmount - ItemAccountingCodingBlockDistribution' node gets filled based on the data provided in the source document. In case of Purchase order, there is a tab called "Account assignment" from where you enter details of account assignment type such as "CC/Project task/Sales Order etc.." Here you can enter the net value which gets stored in the "Amount" field under Root node of  coding block. In case of Sales order you can only enter a project task and you are not able to enter any information regarding price. Hence the amount field never actually gets filled, and hence is empty.

This is so far the designed system behavior.
