Reproducing the Issue
Here, we will take example of "How to Edit Name From Picklist Header UI". All other similar operations can be similarly done with the help of guide: https://help.sap.com/doc/f04408910b7a4e60bce0942cc2f2426d/1905/en-US/SAPSuccessFactorsQ22019TestCases.pdf
For large picklists, we were not able to update the Header and the version from the UI. We used to do the updates by MDF Import, which was quite complex and chances of making a mistake were high.
Now, we will be able to update header info and also the picklist versions from the Picklist’s UI only. This will enable below capabilities for the large Picklists.
-Should be able to Insert new timeslice Picklist
-Should be able to Edit Picklist header
-Should be able to Delete a picklist timeslice.
Step 1) Go to Admin Center => Picklist Center.
Step 2) In the picklist search screen, enter and select large picklist.
You will get a message like below:
Step 3) Click on ‘View picklist’ => Picklist with header and values should be loaded as expected.
Step 4) Click on ‘Edit’ button shown over picklist header. => ‘Edit Picklist’ Screen is shown to user with an option to edit name, status [ inactive–>active], display order, parent picklist in picklist header.
Step 5) Edit name and update to new value. (Or any other header as per your requirement)
Step 6) Click on Save => User is shown with an acknowledgment message that header is updated successfully.
Step 7) Observe the change in picklist header. Picklist header should be updated according to the latest change made.
