• Unable to link custom current date to dynamic time range filters in either widget or restricted measure in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.9.3

1. Log on to SAC tenant.
2. Create a story on sample model [BestRunJuice_SampleModel].
3. Add a story filter on [Date] dimension by Range.
4. Choose Dynamic and then click Create Current Date Input Control for Current Date, like [Year]=2016.
   => Current Period in Range will be shown as "Year(2016)".
   => The range will be calculated (Look Back & Look Ahead) on the custom current period. 
5. Add a new Input Control on [Date] by Range.
   => The custom current date could be used for Dynamic selection.
6. Add filter on any widget (chart, table, etc.) on [Date] by Range.
   => The custom current date cannot be used for Dynamic selection.
7. Create a Restricted Measure and select [Date] to restrict any measure.
   => The custom current date cannot be used for Dynamic selection.

This issue is limitation of current product version.

This feature enhancement has been already in the backlog of SAC development.
