2795756 - Returning From Leave of Absence Restarts Time in Position

Symptom

Time in Position Count Restarted with Right to Return when user Returns From Leave

Environment

Employee Central

Successfactors

Reproducing the Issue

User  A Position Entry date :  Nov 01, 2010 in Job Information

1: Enter Leave of Absence via Take action User A

2: the Employee is unassigned from position via Leave

3: Enter return to work via Take Action

4 : Job position Entry is April 01 2011 and not Nov 01 2010

Cause

When you go on LOA with right to return, the position is unassigned.

The time in position field only checks when you were assigned to the position.

Therefore the Time in Position count is restarted and does not continue on from the Original start date in a position.

Resolution

This is Expected System Behaviour.

IF you wish for the behaviour to be changd an Enhancement Request will need to be created.
