2795774 - Compensation - Skipped users while bulk downloading statements

• When downloading statements from complete compensation cycle we get a skipped user file.
• Why do we see this for some employees and not for others?

When attempting to download statements in bulk you will see a file generated labelled "Skipped users".

This is being done via Compensation Home> Select Template> Complete Compensation Cycle> Rewards Statements> Manage Statement Templates.

This is down to target population for the role which you have Compensation permissions on.

First, check in Compensation Home, go to the compensation template > Complete Compensation Cycle > Manage Statement Template.

Next to the template's name, click on actions > Manage Permission. Confirm that is set to Default Permissions. If it is, it will follow RBP.

If Default Permissions is selected, then please ensure you have the following RBP permissions assigned to the user downloading statements.

Manage Compensation

• Compensation Management Permission
• Manage Personal Compensation Statements
• View User Personal Statements
  
  

Please note: Any permission related to compensation statement must be given.

The Compensation and Variable pay statement permission can be seen in employee data (Manage Permission Roles>Role>Employee Data) as well, kindly give the view permission to them . Make sure whether the required permission is actually required by the user or not and test it out before hand in test/development instance to be sure inorder to avoid extra permission granting.

(In some scenarios, the permission can be seen in employee views). So please make sure the Role have all the access to statement permissions (as this issue is usually due to missing statement permissions)

Report Permission

To get a statement downloaded the target population will need to include the planner of the form which the employee resides on.

Should the planner not be in the target population of the role with these permissions then you will get the skipped user file.

Should you setup a group which only consists of the employee who's statement you want to download, then this will also not work as the planner needs to be included.

Note: This will follow the hierarchy which you had forms launched for. Therefore, if you have the planner in the roles target population you can bulk download statements from within the plan.
