Symptom
As of 1905 it is possible to update LOA records as long as you are not changing the fields: Effective start date, event, event reason, expected return date
This behavior is documented in the below KBA:
2675637 - b1905 - Enable Leave of Absence Editing Switch behaviour
If you are going to the Job History UI and making a change to a job info record it works as expected, however, if you try to perform the same change via job history import than you receive the following error message:
"You cannot import job information records with leave of absence or return to work event reasons using the Job History import in case Time Off with LOA is active. Please use the Time Off import from Import Export data in admin Center for importing data related to leave of absence."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - 1905 Release;

Reproducing the Issue

Resolution
After our engineering review it was found that although in 1905 we have the enhancement documented on 2675637, for imports the validations remains the same, which means that you wont be able to perform job history imports for LOA records.
For updated information about the enhancement, please refer to the updated version of the KBA 2675637.
