Symptom

Error like below on saving home address:

ZIP : EMPFILE_FT_INVALID_PICKLIST_FORMAT
ZIpCode : undefined

Reproducing the Issue

Do any change in address section and save > error pops up.

Cause

  • For above example, the error shows issue is with field ZIpCode (this is label of field in Succession datamodel Home Address section).
  • This field has picklist assigned in Succession datamodel, but is a plain string field in country specific succession datamodel.

Resolution

  • Associate the picklist in the country specific home address field and do not define the home address fields in Succession datamodel.
  • Define any customizations under the country specific fields only.
