Resolution
- As of June 2019, SAP Analytics Cloud hosted on Cloud Foundry (CF eg. EU10 / US10), now support SHA-2 / SHA-256 as a hashing algorithm used in Custom SAML IdP workflows.
- However, SAP Analytics Cloud tenants hosted on NEO (SAP Data Center eg. EU1 / US1) do not support SHA-256 and there are no plans to change this as of February 2021.
