2796641 - Transfer of Direct Reports on Termination is correctly updating the manager but not updating the Position Hierarchy

When using the new Transfer of Direct Reports based on Position Hierarchy on Termination of a Manager feature (ECT-111261).
The Direct Reports are correctly getting updated to the correct manager, but the higher-level position on the direct reports position is not updating.

Employee Central - Position Mangement

1. Set "Reassign Direct Reports According to Position Hierarchy on Termination Screen"  to 'Yes - Always' or 'Yes - Optional'
2. Terminate a Manager with direct reports transferring the direct reports based on the Position hierarchy
3. Direct Reports manager is correctly updated based on the Position Hierarchy
4. The Direct Reports's Positions have not been updated with the new Higher-Level Position

This is Expected Behaviour

The feature "Reassign Direct Reports According to Position Hierarchy on Termination Screen" does not change/adapt the Position hierarchy itself.

If position is leading hierarchy, we recommend to not individually move the employees to a new supervisor as the position are not moved below the newly assigned manager's position but we recommend to automatically assign the employees to a new supervisor according to the position hierarchy However, if companies still want to go ahead with the individual reassignment of employee in job information, this is purely a user-based reassignment in jobinfo but the positions of the employees are not getting transferred.

In other words, Terminating the Manager only transfer the Employee who are directly reporting the Manager. This action does not transfer the Positions under new manager. If you want these positions should also be moved, the action has to be manual for Position Movement.
