2796935 - Sales Orders of Type CBFD (Delivery Free of Charge) Are Not Visible in the Manage Sales Orders App (App ID F1873) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Sales Orders of type CBFD – Delivery Free of Charge are not visible in the Manage Sales Orders app (App ID F1873).

This includes the following scenarios:

  • CBFD sales orders do not appear after creation

  • Existing CBFD sales orders cannot be found using the search function in the app

Reproducing the Issue

Creating a CBFD Sales Order

  1. Open the Manage Sales Orders app

  2. Choose Create

  3. Create a sales order of type CBFD – Delivery Free of Charge

  4. Observe that the sales order is not visible in the app

Displaying an Existing CBFD Sales Order

  1. Open the Manage Sales Orders app

  2. Enter the document number of an existing CBFD sales order

  3. The order is not returned in the result list

Cause

The "Manage Sales Order" application only allows to manage sales orders (VA01) documents, which are of type "C". This is the design from product team with limitation that only 'C' type of sales documentations are allowed to use the App 'Manage Sales Orders'.

There are separate applications available for other VBTYPs, for example "Manage Debit Memo Requests", "Manage Credit Memo Requests" and "Manage Sales Orders Without Charge". Separate semantic objects have been defined for such FIORI applications and currently it is not possible to populate the existing FIORI applications, for example "Manage Sales Orders" with different semantic objects.

Resolution

To work with CBFD – Delivery Free of Charge sales orders, use one of the following apps:

  1. Manage Sales Orders Without Charge (App ID F2305)

  2. Create Sales Order app
    • Can also be used to create and process CBFD sales orders
