2797202 - SXMB_IFR and SLDCHECK error after an upgrade

Symptom

After performing an upgrade or split in the PI system, the SXMB_IFR and SLDCHECK tcodes are failing.

  • SXMB_IFR fails in:

2: Error while reading configuration for secure communication

  • SLDCHECK fails in:

Calling function EXCHANGE_PROFILE_GET_PARAMETER
Retrieving data from the XI Profile...
Function call returned exception code     2
Access to the XI Profile is currently disrupted.
=> Check whether you can access the XI Profile using a web browser!


In dev_Jrfc.trc trace you see the following error:

Exception thrown by application running in JCoServer
com.sap.conn.jco.JCoRuntimeException: (105) JCO_ERROR_APPLICATION_EXCEPTION: handler for LCRBEAN_GET_PROFILE_PARAMETER was not installed
at com.sap.conn.jco.server.DefaultServerHandlerFactory.getCallHandler(DefaultServerHandlerFactory.java:66)
