2798111 - Drag & Drop functionality not working for msg attachments

You wish to drag & drop a msg file to an Attachment facet, in our example in Opportunities.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
2. Go to the Opportunities view.
3. Open any Opportunity.
4. Go to the Attachments facet.
5. Find your msg file on your desktop and drag it to the Attachments facet.

Result: the msg file cannot be dropped in the facet.

You have not selected the File Extension eml as default under Mime Type: message/rfc822.

Please follow the below steps to resolve the issue:

1. Go to Business Configuration Workcenter.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select Open Activity List.
4. Search and Open the Activity Allowed MIME Types for Document Upload.
5. Search for Mime Type: message/rfc822.
6. Select the record and in the File Extension section, uncheck the default flag against msg.
7. Change the following entry: eml default = 'X'.
8. Save and Close.
