2798434 - Message "Active document has been changed concurrently" when trying to save Business Roles or Communication Arrangements.

• While trying to save or delete a draft version of a Communication Arrangement, getting the error message as "Active document has been changed concurrently".
• While trying to publish a Business Role you are getting the error message "Active document has been changed concurrently".
• While trying to save the Business role getting the error message as "Active document was changed in parallel".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to "Maintain Business Roles" or "Communication Arrangements" app
2. Search for Role/Arrangement XXX
3. Click on edit and save

This is an expected behavior.

If somebody changed the active entity of the communication arrangement (over an api or during the upgrade) or the Business Role after the creation of your draft version of the entity, the draft object will be marked as outdated. And in this case save or delete the draft version is not possible.

1. Go to Maintain Business Roles or Communication Arrangements App
2. Search for Business Role/Arrangement ZXXX
3. Cancel draft
4. Click on edit again.
5. Click on save
