Unable to remove a Candidate Profile Extension field on a Data Capture Form.

SAP Successfactors Recruiting Marketing

Step 1: Go to Career Site Builder (CSB). 
Step 2: Click on Tools.

Step 3: Click on Data Capture Forms.


Step 4: Select any Data Capture from available on CSB and click on Edit.

Step 5: Click on Layout.

Step 7: Add any Candidate Profile Extension Field. 
Step 8: Toggle the "Required" field to "Yes". 

Step 9: Unable to toggle the "Required" field to "No".
Step 10: Hence, the REMOVE button to remove the field will not show.

Product is working as designed. Once a candidate profile extension field has been set to required on CSB, after saving it, there will be no option to change the field to NOT required. This will prevent the issue wherein a field is set as required on RCM but not on CSB since there is no option for RMK to know if the candidate profile extension is required or not. You can also submit an enhancement request for this feature so it can be considered by the product management team for future releases.
