2798796 - Fonts does not reflect in PDF format for document generation

Symptom

System not taking specified font while generating the document in PDF format however the fonts are reflected correctly in word format.

Environment

Employee Central - Document Generation.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a document template. Change the fonts in the template.
  2. Generate document in PDF format.
  3. Fonts changed in step 1 are not reflected in PDF format.
  4. Generate document in Word format.
  5. The fonts used in step 1 are reflected in Word format. 

Resolution

This is a limitation in Document Generation for PDF format templates. All PDF format templates are generated with default font even though the font specified during the template creation is different. But all fonts are supported in Word document.
