Resolution

The Assign permissions to create Leave of Absence requests in Time Off was intended to help customer to automatically assign all relevant permissions for the Time Off LOA this works by checking all the roles created in the system, identifying which ones had permissions to perform the activities in the legacy LOA and then assigning the permissions to the Time Off LOA, please refer to the below step by step:

  1. When you run this feature the system will identifies all the roles that exists;
  2. As next step the system will identify which roles has the permissions to either planLeaveOfAbsenceAction or returnLeaveOfAbsenceAction or both;
  3. For the roles that have the permissions in step 2, then this routine will assign the relevant permissions for Time Off LOA;

Note: This routine is only relevant if you are migrating from legacy to time off LOA and you have the roles with the permissions documented in step 2 assigned otherwise this routine is not relevant.
