2800474 - Formatted text in External Note is not showing correctly in the Preview

Symptom

You are using Formatted Text in the External Note in a Sales Quote but in the Preview, the formatting is not showing correctly.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
  2. Go to the Sales Quote view.
  3. Open any Sales Quote.
  4. Click Edit and enter formatted text in the External Note of a product.
  5. Click Actions > Preview.

Result: The formatting is not showing exactly as in the External Note.

Cause

You entered the formatted text by using copy & paste. Formatting by copy and pasting formatted text does not always work.

Resolution

The formatting must be done on the Sales Quote UI directly, only then will it show as expected in the Preview.
