2800715 - Language function is not working in user

• In the Maintain Business Users app, the language for the user is changed to any value
• When logging in to Fiori Launchpad, the language used does not recognize the value set in the Maintain Business Users app

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

• The language specified in Maintain Business Users app has no impact on the language that the user is prompted when logging into Fiori Launchpad
• The language of Fiori Launchpad is driven by the URL and if no language is specified on the URL, then the language defaults to the language of the browser
• For Fiori Launchpad, the language is specified by the sap-language parameter - e.g.: append ?sap-language=EN to the URL
