2800936 - Can't create material with Price Control = V ( Moving Average Price )

Symptom

When creating a new material with Accounting view, you want to change Price Control to V - Moving Average Price  . However, the Price Control field is greyed out and can't be modified.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

  • According to standard content, the default Price Determination is set to 2.
  • Price Determination is set to 3 by default, please follow the Resolution part to edit the Price Control.

Resolution

  1. The field Price Determination can be changed from 3 to 2 by pressing "Enter".
  2. Then the field Price Control is available to edit.
