2801149 - Preventing Quick Approval for Multiple Workflows

Symptom

  • How to disable the Approve All button on the Workflow Approval Tile?
  • How to stop approver from mass approval of Workflows from the Home page tile?
  • How to ensure that the approvers open each workflow request, review the details, and approve them individually?

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Click on the "Approve requests" tile on home page :

  1. The System enables the User to select / check multiple Workflows pending for approval and approve them at once

  1. How to prevent this?

Cause

 Missing permission

Resolution

  • From the 1905 Release, there is a new permission setting called : "Prevent Quick Approval of Workflow"
  • Navigate to the Permission Role -> Manage Workflows and enable this setting

  • This permission role disables the checkboxes next to each pending Workflow request, thereby preventing their selection for a mass approval.
