Symptom
In Integration Center, the candidateProgress field, which shows the furthest non-disqualified candidate in the talent pipeline from a Job Requisition, is not showing the correct information. Below is example of a inaccurate query in Integration Center:
- The example candidate is the furthest candidate in the Job Requisition and he is placed in the Hired Status
- The Hired Status in the "Edit Applicant Status Configuration" have the Status ID as "15"
- Inside Integration Center, the field "Candidate Progress Status" should be showing the furthest candidate status, however it showing "14" instead of "15"
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All Versions
- Integration Center
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to relevant Job Requisition, check the furthest non-disqualified candidate in the pipeline and check the pipeline status.
- Now go to "Edit Applicant Status Configuration", open the respective Status and go to status of the furthest candidate
- Confirm the Status ID
- Go to Integration Center and run a new Integration
- In Integration Center, select "My Integrations" and click on "+ Create"
- Select "Schedule Simple File Output Integration" in the dropdown
- In the Entity Name, put JobRequisition and select the same in the Recommended Starting Entities
- In the fields section, select: jobReqId, candidateProgress and statusSetId
- On the tab Filter and Sort, open Advanced Filters and select Job Requisition ID
- Type the Job Req ID on the Value
- Go to Configure Fields
- Check the misinformation in the Integration Center Candidate Progress Status field.
Cause
This case will only happen when the status is changed inside the Application Page in the Job Requisition, if the status is changed in the Candidate Workbench, then the information is updated correctly. When the status is changed in the Application Page, the candidateProgress field will not be update with the last information from the rcm_job_req table. Hence the query will come with inaccurate data.
Resolution
The issue is still being investigated by SAP Software Engineering team.
Workaround: Since this issue will only occur when the status is changed in the Application Page, it's recommend to move the furthest candidate in the statuses from the Candidate Workbench Page.
- Application Page View:
- Open the Job Requisition, go to the Candidates tab
- Select any candidate and open the application
- Change the status via Candidate Status field
- Candidate Workbench View:
- Open the Job Requisition, go to the Candidates tab
- Select the candidate and change the application status via drag and drop or action button.
