  • Backup Server error 3216 while materializing database

  • sap_status task reports:

    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Task Name ASE Dump and Load
    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Task State Error
    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Short Description Dump and Load an Adaptive Server Enterprise database
    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Long Description Attempting to bring database '<SID>' online.
    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Failing Command Return Code 3216
    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Failing Command Error Message Error occurred during load process.
    • ASEDBDumpAndLoad Failing Exception Message: 'Backup Server session id is: 8. Use this value when executing the 'sp_volchanged' system stored procedure after fulfilling any volume change request from the Backup Server.' Cause: ''.
  •  RMA log reports:

    • SQL ERROR -- Message: 'Data on dump will not fit into current database. Need ... Mbyte database.'
    • SQLState: 'ZZZZZ' Remote Code: '3105' Cause: ''.SQL WARNING -- Message: * Server session id is: 8. Use this value when executing the 'sp_volchanged' system stored procedure after fulfilling any volume change request from the * Server.'
    • SQLState: '01ZZZ' Remote Code: '3216' Cause: ''.
