2801248 - Java application received transaction rollback and task cannot finish

Symptom

  • Using Ribo utility to capture TDS packages between client and ASE server
  • Shows 'error 4224, state 2' being raised:

EED Token (0xE5); variable length.
 Message Number [4]:           4224
 Message State [1]:               2
 Message Class [1]:              16

 Message Text [86]:            "An interruption occurred in process 456 due to USER ATTENTION or connection failure."

  • It also show lots of DONEINPROC token

DONEINPROC Token (0xFF); fixed length.

  • ASE Errorlog may show:
    Error: 4224, Severity: 16, State: 2
    An interruption occurred in process XX due to USER ATTENTION or connection failure
