2801365 - Not possible to transfer many items from a catalog

Symptom

 It is not possible to transfer many items (e.g. more than 150) from a catalog to SRM.

  • You may receive following error after an http request:

    "There are too many parameters in the request. Maximum number of parameters in the request 1000 was exceeded. Check SAP Note 1678387 for further information."

    "Cannot parse the parameters of the request. Maximum number of parameters 5000 was exceeded."

  • You may receive following Java error during the transfer:

    Java iView Runtime
    + Copyright 2002 SAP AG. All rights reserved.
    An exception occurred while processing your request.
    If this situation persists, please contact your system administrator.

Note:

The maximum number of items that can be transferred to SRM cannot be defined exactly. This limit depends on the information that the catalog sends to SRM (e.g. long description, other details).
