2801639 - FTP could not transfer file. Ensure that the FTP relative path for the SAP server working directory is set correctly - Data Services

Symptom

  • Not able to read the file from FTP/SFTP.
  • Excel file not able to be FTP'ed.
  • Error: (14.2) 05-20-19 14:14:45 (E) (24720:4160563008) FIL-052008: |Data flow <dataflow name> FTP could not transfer file <location_and_filename> from host <ftp_host>: <ftp_port>. Ensure that the FTP relative path for the SAP server working directory is set correctly such that the data file is accessible to the FTP program. Also, ensure that the target path, where the transferred file is written to, is correct.
  • Error occurs using File Location object or using the Data Access tab in the Excel source.
