2802230 - Some fields in Sales Quote become unchangeable after status being set to Completed


When Business Transactions (like Sales Quote or Opportunity) are set to Completed, some fields cannot be changed anymore.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
  2. Go to the Sales Quotes view (for example).
  3. Open a Sales Quote in status Completed.
  4. Click Edit and check the field Sales Unit (for example).

Result: The field Sales Unit is greyed out and cannot be changed.


This is a standard behavior. Once an item is completed, it is not allowed to do further change to it. Fields such as Product Name, Quantity, Sales Unit, Owner , etc., are not changeable anymore.
