2802335 - Error when trying to process concurrent employment via Internal Hire

When trying to submit a request via MPH, system is throwing an error as: **Error in Compensation: Date is a required field when making changes to primary/secondary settings**

Employee Central - Manage Pending Hires

1. Navigate to Manage Pending Hires
2. Try to process an Internal Hire who has a concurrent employment
3. Click on Submit 
4. Error appears

A pay component record is present for internal hire which has been used by comp planning and cannot be used.

Processing an internal hire coming from an assignment (Concurrent Employment perspective) is planned to be handled and fixed in 1908 release.

Workaround:

It is recommended to transfer/promote employees with multiple assignments via People Profile "Take Actions" and not via "Manage Pending Hires".
