2803222 - Termination screen fields reset when changing "Transfer Direct Reports" option - Employee Central

• During the termination process, when selecting or changing a value in the Transfer Direct Reports (or Transfer Job Relationships) dropdown, the screen refreshes and the value set by a business rule is refreshed.
• The affected field changes to 'No Selection' or becomes empty. 
• In some cases, standard fields such as 'OK to Rehire' reset to their default value (e.g., from Yes to No) when the Transfer Direct Reports option is modified for a second time.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Scenario 1:

1. Create a Business Rule to set the value of a field on the termination screen.
   1. Example: Automatically set OK to Rehire = Yes or populate a custom field.
2. Go to the Employee Profile.
3. Select Actions > Terminate.
4. Enter a Termination Date and Termination Reason.
5. Under Transfer Direct Reports, select any option.
6. Change the Transfer Direct Reports option again.
   1. The termination screen refreshes, and the field value set by the rule is cleared or reset to No Selection / No.

Scenario 2:

1. Create a Business Rule to set a field value on the termination screen (for example, OK to Rehire = Yes).
2. During termination, after selecting values for Termination Date and Termination Reason, modify Transfer Direct Reports.
3. Notice that the field value set by the business rule disappears or resets after the page refresh.

This is currently the expected behavior by the system.
