2803522 - Application error in Add New Employee wizard

An application error occurs during new hire. Also, if Job History import is performed, the data does not appear in the portlet and the job is not available in Monitor Job. The imported data can be seen in Person and Employment (as of Date) report.

This KBA may be useful in the following scenarios:

Scenario 1:

Getting an error "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=**-**-**-**-**, timestamp=yy-mm-dd, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring." when hiring in Add New Employee wizard.

Scenario 2:

After completion of Job History import, the imported data does not appear in the user's Job Information portlet. However, the data is available in Person and Employment (as ofDate) report. Also, the import job does not appear in Manage Data.

Scenario 3:

In RBP section, the table Employee Central Effective Dated Entities looks different.



Provisioning feature "Manager Transfer for Employee Profile" is not supported in EC.

Check in Provisioning > Company Settings. The feature "Manager Transfer for Employee Profile" should not be enabled. If you don't have access to Provisioning, contact your implementation partner. If you don't have an implementation partner, contact SAP Cloud Product Support team.

SAP internal employees can check Internal Memo for logs.
