2803645 - Employees with ID mapping missing in Master Data replication work center

Symptom

  • You are integrating SuccessFactors Employee Central with SAP Business ByDesign.
  • The mapped employees are shown with missing ID mapping.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Master Data replication work center.
  2. Go to Employee Central Pre-Integration view.
  3. Click Analysis Summary and Confirmation.
  4. Get the number of Employees with Missing ID Mapping.

Cause

  • The Employee Central IDs are mapped to the Employee IDs.
  • ID mapping should be done between the Remote Object ID of the Employee imported from the SuccessFactors Employee Central to Business Partner ID in  Business ByDesign.

Resolution

To map the IDs correctly, follow below steps.

1. Go to Master Data Replication > Employees.
2. Copy the Remote Object ID of the employee..
3. Go to Master Data Replication->ID mapping for Integration.
4. Select Mapping of Business Partner.
5. Search for the Employee using the Description Field.
6. Enter the copied Remote Object ID.
7. Press Save.
