• When we submit a hiring request, the approvers related to the workflow shows empty users in the pop up box.

• Workflow participants for position relationship type approver steps shows empty when workflow triggers.

• Effective date of position is in future (compared to workflow initiated date).

• If the position start date is in future, the workflow participants cannot be derived for a Position Relationship type approvers.

Example workflow configuration:

• The position is inactive today and will become active in future.
• Therefore, make sure that if you are using Position Relationship as approver steps then the position is effective as-of-today / date of initiating the workflow.
