2804561 - Error during chapter edit - BO Disclosure Management FRE client has stopped working

When checking out a chapter/report (edit), using Office 365 client you get one of the following error messages

• BO Disclosure Management FRE-client has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program
• Could not create a SingleInstanceTracker object: Failed to send message to the instance. Please terminate the FREC client
• The system can not find the path specfied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003)

In the Windows event viewer (or details of the error) you see the following
