2805809 - Prompts in Web Intelligence Document Fails to display the Default value given in SAP BW Authorization variable

Symptom

  • Prompts in Web Intelligence Document Fails to display the Default value given in SAP BW Authorization variable
  • Issue is observed only if the default value consists of wildcards eg: *ABC
  • Tested on Space Variables (State variables are not supported in webi Refer 2678544 )
  • Executing the Query without values in prompt fails with below error

    BW System <xxx> returned state 'USER_NOT_AUTHORIZED'. Message = You do not have sufficient authorization (Error: INF )
