An instructor ID is associated to a course, but this instructor is not existing in LMS

1. Check learning history of a course, then notice that there is an instructor associated.

2. Search for the same instructor ID and notice that this instructor is not in the system.

The instructor ID got associated with the course via connector.

As per Engineering team, you may give any value for the "instructor" on the learning history connector input file. The instructor got associated with the course via the connector, even though the instructor was not created / existing within the LMS UI. Hence you cannot find any history (creation/deletion/modification) for that instructor on the LMS environment.
