Symptom

  • Can windows authentication be used on Linux job server when setting up a datastore in designer?
  • ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <> failed with error: <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <> failed with error:Windows Authentication is not supported on UNIX. To avoid this error, set the Use Windows authentication configuration option to No when using MS SQL Server on UNIX.
