2807730 - CRM /WebUI applications unable to start from Fiori Launchpad with error "Failed to load UI5 component for navigation intent #Shell-startWCF"

Symptom

CRM applications fail to open from Fiori Launchpad and errors like the following can be observed in the browser console:

  • /bsp/sap/crm_ui_start/default.htm/Component-preload.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
  • Failed to load UI5 component for navigation intent #Shell-startWCF?wcf-target-id=<ID> - failed to load 'z_create_service/Component.js' from /bsp/sap/crm_ui_start/default.htm/Component.js: 404 
    (where <ID> depends on the tile which was launched)
