Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new absence or modify an existing absence.
  2. Click on Link additional absence in the absence request form.
  3. "There are no linkable absences." is displayed in the Absences to be Linked field and the Reference Number and Days Already Cumulated For Same Sickness fields are missing.

Cause

The issue was due to the EmployeeTime association countryExtensionMEX (or countryExtensionCOL, etc.) visibility set to Not Visible.

Resolution

Go to Configure Object Definition > Employee Time and set the visibility of the EmployeeTime association (i.e. countryExtensionMEX, countryExtensionCOL, etc.)to Editable.

The missing fields should now be visible, making it possible to link absences.
