2809900 - Comments Box text in PM form shows right justified - Performance Management

When you view the comments box on the screen as a Manager in the PM Form, the text shows right justified.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. The Employee enter comments on a PM Form step (e.g. Mid Year Review step).
2. The form is routed to the Manager for him to enter comments.
3. The Manager opens the form to view employee's comments.
4. The Comment Box text is justified to the right side, as per the screenshot below

The layout of the comment boxes on the performance form cannot be customized. The availability of the text boxes depends on the permissions that are specified for the different roles at the route map steps.

When the specific role who's seeing the Other Ratings Tab (e.g. an employee manager) has permissions to view the Other's Rating tab where the comments and rating from others are located) but doesn't have the permission to view Section Comments him/herself, this is the system expected behavior. That is why, the form shows a blank space where the text box should be.

1. At present, the system does not support controlling or customizing the layout of comments in Performance Management (PM) forms.
2. Additionally, the system does not support configuring the comment box to be mandatory based on rating differences (for example, when there is a gap between employee and manager ratings). This is a standard product limitation, and currently there is no configuration or workaround available to enforce mandatory comments conditionally based on selected ratings.
