2809907 - Goal email notifications for beta goal import

Symptom

Do employees get Goal Creation notifications when creating a new goal via beta goal import?
Do employees get Goal Deletion notifications when deleting a goal via beta goal import?
Do employees get Goal Modification notifications when creating/deleting/modifying a goal via beta goal import?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Goals Management

Reproducing the Issue

Creating a new Goal
a. Download the Import Template CSV header
b. Fill out the required fields for the goal and choose ADD action.
c. Upload the file
d. Check for email notification.
e. Goal Modification Notification is received, Goal Creation Notification is not received
Deleting an existing Goal
a. Find the goals ID (Goal Search classic report, Ad Hoc Goal Management Report or Goal ID if displayed directly in goal plan).
b. Download the Import Template CSV header
c. Enter the Type and Goal ID and choose the DELETE action.
d. Check for email notification
e. Only Goal Modification Notification is received, Goal Deletion Notification is not received
Modifying an existing Goal
a. Find the goals ID (Goal Search classic report, Ad Hoc Goal Management Report or Goal ID if displayed directly in goal plan).
b. Download the Import Template CSV header
c. Enter the Type and Goal ID, update some of the fields and choose the UPDATE action.
d. Check for email notification
e. Goal Modification Notification is received.

Cause

It is expected behavior, that no Goal Creation and Goal Deletion Notifications are triggered.
Once the Beta Goal Import job is completed a Status e-mail for this job will be triggered for the person who ran the import.
This status e-mail will include information about how many goals were created, deleted, updated/modifyied and assigned and in case of errors will include a list of those.

Also a Goal Modification Notification is triggered for the Employee whose Goal Plan was changed and the Employee's Manager.
This Notification will be send out once a day depending on your settings for the Objective Notification e-mail job (for more information check: 2627410 - Goal Modification Notification (daily) - How to Configure and How to Troubleshoot)

NOTE:

If the Employee made an Import themselves, then they will not receive a Notification about the changes they made to their Goal Plan - in this case only the Employee's Manager will receive a notification.
If the Employee's Manager made the Import - to change data in the Employee's Goal Plan - then they will not receive a Notification about the changes they made - only the Employee will receive a notification.
