Is it possible to edit/update the candidate background information via legacy data import?

In the current system, the legacy import will only insert the data in the DataBase and the upsert won't be possible. The system doesn't read the information already set and if a unique data is added to be overwritten, it will be considered as a new entry, hence the information will be duplicated. In our Implementation Guide, under the Recruiting Data Migration section, we have the following statement:

• Data migration imports can only create records. It isn’t possible to update or delete records using a data migration import.

The information should be handled carefully since the update or removal won't be possible through legacy import.
