2810018 - Key Figure Target Shows Wrong Amount in Sales Target Planning Report

You are using the standard report Our Progress: Sales Target/Pipeline for Managers or any report based on the data sources Sales Target Plan (ID CRMSTPP), Sales Target Plan (ID CODTARGETPLANV) or Sales Target Analysis (ID CODSTPU01). When you filter on a specific employee, the Target key figure shows wrong data.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics or Analysis.
2. Go to the view Design Reports or Reports.
3. Open your report.
4. In the selection area, filter for the Owner, Employee or Employee Responsible (depending on which data source is used).
5. Check the Target key figure (or Target Amount). It shows only a part of the target which was maintained in the sales plan.

The target amount is allocated per sales plan. However, if a sales plan has more than 1 employee and you add the Employee field to the view, the target amount has to be split up between all the employees. Hence, when you filter for 1 employee but there are more employees in the sales plan, the target value will be shown only partly (e.g. half of the target amount if there are 2 employees etc).

It is not recommended to filter by employee in this use case, since there may be more than 1 employee per sales plan. Instead, you can filter for the sales plan or the sales unit.

Alternatively, there is a workaround if you are using the data source Sales Target Plan (ID CODTARGETPLANV): You can make use of the field Plan Employee Responsible. Note that you have to enter the employee responsible for this plan (maintained in the header of the sales plan), rather than any of the involved employees.
